All prices are quoted in Egyptian Pounds (EGP). US Dollar equivalents shown on this page are indicative and based on the official Central Bank of Egypt exchange rate, updated each month. Your payment is processed in EGP. We do not add foreign currency conversion fees, but your bank or payment processor may apply their own exchange rates.
No. Heritage passes provide guidance, timetables, illustrated booklets, and in the case of the Heritage Expert pass, a private guided session. Site admission tickets are purchased directly at the monument or museum, or via the Egyptian Tourism Authority's official booking channels. We include current admission fee information in all site guides so you know what to budget before you travel.
Day Visitor passes are valid for 7 calendar days from the date of activation. Explorer passes are valid for 30 days. Heritage Expert passes are valid for 60 days, which provides sufficient window for scheduling the private Egyptologist session around your confirmed travel dates. Validity does not begin until we send your activation confirmation — not at the point of payment.
Yes. Contact our team by email at [email protected] and we will invoice the difference between your current pass tier and the tier you wish to upgrade to. Upgrades are processed within one business day and your access is extended accordingly. We do not offer refunds on downgrades after activation, but we are happy to transfer a pass to another person travelling on the same itinerary.
Groups of six or more travellers travelling on the same itinerary receive a 15 percent reduction on Explorer and Heritage Expert passes. Academic institutions and school groups receive a 20 percent reduction on any tier. Contact us before booking to have the reduced rate applied to your order — group discounts cannot be applied retrospectively. Large groups (20+) should enquire separately for bespoke pricing.
We accept bank transfer to our Cairo corporate account (details provided on invoice), Visa and Mastercard via our secure payment processor, and PayPal for international visitors who prefer that method. Cash payments at our Downtown Cairo office are accepted by prior appointment. We do not accept cheques or cryptocurrency payments.
For Day Visitor passes, your booklet download link and timetable briefing arrive by email within two hours of payment confirmation during business hours (09:00–18:00 Cairo time, Sunday through Thursday). Explorer and Heritage Expert passes require us to prepare your personalised itinerary, which takes one business day. We send a confirmation immediately on payment and the full briefing pack within 24 hours.
