Common Pre-Enquiry Questions

All form submissions submitted during office hours (09:00–18:00 Cairo time, Sunday–Thursday) receive a reply within four hours. Submissions arriving outside these hours are answered on the next working morning. We guarantee a response to every enquiry within one full business day. If you have not heard from us within 24 hours, please check your spam folder and then email us directly at [email protected].
Yes, selecting a pass tier in the form and submitting it initiates the booking process. We will reply with a formal invoice and payment instructions. No payment is due until you have confirmed the invoice by email. For Explorer and Heritage Expert passes, we also need to prepare your itinerary before charging, so we typically request payment after we have sent your draft briefing and you have confirmed it is correct.
Yes. The Day Visitor pass is typically activated within two hours of payment during business hours. Explorer pass briefings can be completed within the same business day for itineraries of up to four sites. Heritage Expert guided sessions require a minimum of five working days to confirm a specialist, so if you are travelling very soon, that option may not be schedulable — but the Explorer pass materials can still be prepared quickly. Tell us your dates in the form and we will advise honestly.
All three pass tiers are available to solo travellers. In fact, our most frequent clients are individual researchers, solo heritage enthusiasts, and couples travelling independently rather than on package tours. The private Egyptologist session in the Heritage Expert pass is priced for groups of up to eight people sharing a booking — a solo traveller paying the same rate simply gets a more intimate experience rather than a reduced price, which most of our solo clients consider excellent value.
The four most useful pieces of information are: your travel dates, the sites you plan to visit (even a rough list), your group size and composition (adults, children with ages if applicable), and any specific interests or constraints (accessibility needs, particular periods of history, photography permit requirements, time limits per day). The more of these you include in the form, the less back-and-forth we need before sending your briefing.
